Hi,

I have just returned from a short trip to my ancestral roots, IE my mums! Whilst in Melton i visited my favourite local bookshop. It is always good for new local history books.

Anyway, I bought the above titled book and would recommend it anyone with an interest in the areas churchyards. It contains photos of many of the graves with these engravings and the inscriptions for many others. The photos are of great standard and I was happy that it contained a couple of my long ago ancestors. It was £7. ISBN978-0-9541934-2-3

Whilst I am unable to transcribe any of its content for anyone, if anyone wishes to know details of ancestors then if they send me their names and dates I will tell you if they are in the book! You can then buy a copy for yourself. I think we should all support such enterprise.
The graves are all 1690 - 1759
