How about this family in 1841?

1841
HO107/1196/4 8 8
Dudley, Worcestershire
Mill Street

Jno Hall, 35, Shoe m, not born in county
Sarah, 40
Benj, 9
Mary, 15
Anna, 15
Sarah, 20 (??)

Hi
Many thanks for that, I will have a look, I have managed to find Sarah's christening on 16 March 1828 in St Thomas Dudley, but not the other 2 or anything for John & Sarah.
I was wondering though, do you think that the 2 Whitehouse children in the 1851 census are grandchildren to John & Sarah?
Kind regards, Sam

I too wondered about the Whitehouses being grandchildren but I'm not sure how to find out easily.

A quick FreeBMD search doesn't reveal a likely Hall/Whitehouse marriage at first sight and unfortunately Whitehouse seems to be a very popular name in the area ...

Hi
I have been searching likely christenings, for John I have:

12/3/1809 St Thomas, Worcestershire parents Samuel & Hannah

11/2/1810 St Thomas, Worcestershire parents John & Sarah

other John & Sarah children:

Mary Hall 11/4/03

other John & Hannah:

Joseph 17/7/14

Children that I am not sure which John & Sarah they belong to (all St Thomas):

Ann Maria 19/9/28

John 3/7/25

John b8/2/30 c25/7/30 d14/4/31

Mary 20/7/23

Oh, and I think that I have found Hannah:

Hannah Hall 1/1/1826 also St Tomas.

Many thanks, Sam

I think that the ones for John are too late, there are a number around 1801 in Warwickshire. I think I am going to call it a day.

Sorry, don't have time right now to try a search for you but came across this recently when looking for someone else and it has lots of Whitehouse databases ...
