Jesse Sewell 1695?

I am descended from Mr. Sewell who supposedly immigrated to the US in 1725 with his son Abraham.  They settled in Vermont initally, but moved on to Maryland and North Carolina. It is is believed that Jesse came from Durham, but I have no proof.  Help please!
