Just wanted to say that given she seems to be wearing a collar and tie, doesn't that make a Nurse occupation more likely than Postulant?
Do any Nuns, in training or not, wear collars and ties?

Looks 1920's...I think if she was in the Armed Forces she would have some insignia.
I believe student nurses at this time wore a collar & bowtie,but that's just a best guess.
