I'd appreciate a look up for
Hannah Gaskell born 1853 Upholland Lancashire
I am not sure who she is living with or where in 1901
In 1891 she was living with her mother at Meols Cop Road but her mother had died ty 1901

Hi,
I can't see your Hannah Gaskell on 1901 census. Not sure where Upholland comes under registration districts, but several Hannah Gaskell's married in Lancashire between 1891 - 1901. Probably worth looking at MR's.

Hi I am pretty sure she did not marry and had not died by then so she should be on there. Although born in Upholland the family had moved to Southport which would show under the Ormskirk Registration district.
Can anyone find her please?

I am also looking for her sister. They may even be living together.
She is Mary Ann Gaskell, as far as I know she was not married in 1901
She was older born 1853/1854 also in Upholland.

I have just had another look at the BMD's and I missed a possible death for a Hannah Gaskell in Sep 1/4 1891, Orsmkirk this may well be her.
I think there is a Hannah Gaskell on the 1891 living Orsmkirk district but this may be Hannah Prescott who had married John Gaskell Ormskirk district in Dec 1/4 1891. She was born Ormskirk district Dec 1/4 1862. If someone is able to post the 1901 for this Hannah Gaskell that would be great. This will help me sort things out. The John she married might even be Hannah's brother John. He died 1898 as far as I can work out.
