Hello Oldtimer,

Thank you for your message, hopefully they will get through this time.

Kind regards,
Joy

I have sent it again only to be told an error has occurred to rename it and try again. Which I have done 4 times still no luck, don't know what to do now, any suggestions please.

Hello Joy
For dating a colour version is better as cardstocks changed over time & are often a better guide than the dress style. If you can rescan these including the edges of the card & back we will be able to give a better date,in the meantime the lady is dressed in an 1870's style but as an older lady she may not be very fashionable.
The man is dressed in a style common to the 60's & 70's but the cardstock looks possibly an  1870's & 1880's style.
We need to see what you're looking at so please be advised as above.

Hi Judy,

Thank you for posting the photos for me. I am rather dissappointed that apart from
Irene there have been no offers to try and restore.

I would like everyone to know I will be ever so grateful if the photos were restored.

Kind regards
Joy

Hi Joy.........You are very welcome,  I would have hoped for a better outcome but sometimes you can only enhance what you have to work with.
