Hi
Being someone that enjoys drawing and doing a bit of art when i get the chance in between work, and after seeing what you guys can do with these old pics, i would like to try restoring and colouring old pics myself but i don't know what software i would need, can someone please advise?

There are also other threads that discuss these packages on the Resources, Tips, Tutorials Board (and lots of How to do it Tips  Smiley  )

You could start off with the freebee The Gimp and then decide if you want to spend any money  Smiley

Hi chinacharlie,
I use GIMP, as Gadget says, it's free. It has its failings, but it's good to start with, provided you remember to keep saving your work.
Also there is Irfanview, free, which is good for resizing.
