Hi, am hoping that someone can help me here with this. I am looking for a hospital record for my great uncle who was admitted to St. Nicholas's Hospital - later renamed Northtumberland War Hospital. Where would I got to get such information. What I have on him is:
Private Michael Ryan. Machine Gun Corps Infantry. Service Number was 26015 and was previously with the Royal Irish Regiment where his number was 1170. He was injured in France on July 8th 1916 aged 22. He was brought from there to St. Nicholas's Hospital (Norththumberland War Hospital) and died there. He was interred in Ashburton Roman Catholic Cemetry, Gosforth on July 12th 1916. I know his father was there for the burial. He is the son of Michael Ryan from Lurgoe, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary, Ireland
Am looking for a hospital record for him or even a death record would be helpful too.
Cheers,
Annie
