Lilly Grosse, born Gainsbrough, 1885

The birth of Lilly Grosse was registered Gainsbrough, Sept 1885 (BMD); I believe her mother was Anne Wallis. Anne Wallis later married Joseph Upton in Sheffield, 1887, and in census returns the daughter is 'Lily Upton, born Gainsboro ' (1891, 1901). In 1904 Lily Grosse marries Frederick Wilson in Sheffield. Can anyone confirm the parents of Lilly Grosse? I have long had problems with the Wallis/Upton link, and have only just discovered that the oldest child was born Grosse, not Upton.
