Looking for Information on Charles Cameron

I am trying to trace Charles Cameron, who married Frances Hook on 27th April 1902.

In the census of 1901, he was aged 22 and living in a boarding house in Islington London.
He was a carpenter and joiner according to the census.
And his place of birth was given as Scotland.

On his marriage certificate it says that his father was also named Charles Cameron and his profession was an overseer.
I don't know what that means.

Please can anyone give me any information on the family.  Many thanks
