Hello, I am trying to make a connection between the following TOWNSEND men, any assistance appreciated;
.
G/G/G/G Grandmother - Louisa TOWNSEND born 1788, married Charles HARRISON 03/10/1813, St Margarets Church Leicester.
.
I have been informed that Louisa was the daughter of Joesph and Sarah TOWNSEND.
.
I have located summary record information (UK Archives) on a Joseph TOWNSEND of Leicester, being a WILL dated 1839, Joseph listed as an Innkeeper.
I have further located summary information (UK Archives) on a John TOWNSEND (Innholder) of Kirkby Mallory dated 1739.
My G/G/G/G Grandparents Charles and Louisa HARRISON named a son John Townsend HARRISON in 1823.
.
I am wondering if there might be a connection with these TOWNSEND men, any records for Kirkby Mallory for John TOWNSEND in the 1700's, regards Jason Harrison - New South Wales Australia.
