louisa townsend age 3
living at;high street,chipping barnet
all born in county
naming pattern here joseph,louisa?
wonder if elizabeths husband was the link to your family
he probably died sometime between 1838 when louisa was born and 1841 when the census was taken(unless he was not at home for this census)

believe this could possibly be joseph townsend age 20 on 1841. christening
joseph townsend
date; 1st april 1821
place; royston,herts
parents; john/elizabeth townsend
there are also other christenings to a john/elizabeth couple some of which tie up with the censuses posted
maria townsend 1/3/1818
charles 1/3/1821
alfred 7/8/1825
sarah 6/8/1837
thomas 13/10/1839
anne 24/4/1836
charles 26/1/1823

all events took place at royston,herts
all are ext.rec.I.G.I.

this is the only death i can find that might possibly be the father john
name; charles john townsend

hertford and royston are very close to each other so with the christening of the eldest son  named charles it is a possibility this is the father
all pure guesswork though and they might have nothing to do with your family?
