*COMPLETED* Luter / Gregory Marriage (possibly Priorslee)
« on: Sunday 01 November 09 14:21 UTC (UK) »

I was wondering if anybody would be able to assist me with a marriage date? The two people in question are:

George LUTER [b. abt 1845 in High Ercall]
Sarah GREGORY [b. abt 1836 in Wrockwardine Wood]

I'm guessing that they were married around Shifnal or Wellington, but I can find absolutely no record of their marriage at all using the BMD resources. Again, I'm very much guessing that this would have been about 1865 (it's certainly before 1868, as I have a copy of their son's birth certificate from which the mother's maiden name is taken - They were living in Priorslee at this time).

Any information would be gratefully received! I hope I've included all necessary info, if not please let me know Smiley

Hi  Smiley

Dec 1865 Wellington 6a 1551
George Luther to possibly Sarah Gregory

(George's page number is misindexed on FreeBMD as 1331 but it's clearly 1551 on the actual image)

Hi Tati,

That's absolutely perfect and would be totally spot on (aside from the obvious transcription error!). Thank you very, very much indeed - That'll do very nicely Cheesy

Thank you again!
