There is this  Undecided

Mrs Emily READ departed London 9 May 1934 aboard the HOBSONS BAY She was ticketed to Melbourne
She was aged 61 a Housewife address in the UK 95 Abbotts Walk, Brampton Rd Bexley Heath. She intended permanent residence in Australia.

Not spotting a return to UK.

Hi again,

Sorry pressed the wrong button hadnt finished my last message, the first message of yours regarding Emily Read going out to Australia, is correct as that was her home address in Bexleyheath, she must have returned at some time as on her husband Walter READs death certificate in 1946 she was put down as present at his death.

Your second message has me thinking even more, about a Mrs Read returning  after 1946 and the address she returned too is another READ, i think she was Eliza READ the sister of Walter READ, perhaps she went out to visit her nephew Pursey READ.
