Wallace Family
« on: Sunday 01 November 09 15:40 UTC (UK) »

Hi....I am looking for help in extending the family tree.
Can anyone help with adding to the following:
Edward Wallace (c. 1869-?) who married a Mary.
They had a sons Edward and Stephen and a daughter Mary Bridget.
Edward married Ellen Collins and had 4 children....Edward, Stephen, Mary and John
Mary Bridget marrried Edward Barry and had a daughter Mary Bridget.
That is all i have and would be grateful if anyone can help me add to this.
Thanks,
Tom.

Hello,

I think you will have already found Edward in Hudsons Lane in 1911 but I noticed that the marriage years seems to be 11 years (there's a bit of a squiggle) but Stephen, the son is aged 16 yrs.

Family Search pilot http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start has 14 entries for Edward Wallace in Waterford- some entries of which can be ruled out.
The most significant ones are possibly:
birth 1866- death 1946
marriage 1887
marriage 1893

Unfortunately, the marriages can't be cross referenced  so you would have to apply for certificates to verify. It may be that he was married before and the wife died.

best wishes

I thought you would have  Wink

The certificates may help to expand though -you would be able to get Edward snr's parents perhaps.
