Hello,

Does anyone have the Secombe PRs

I am looking for the details of a marriage for Susan Anderson (nee Luck), the marriage took place on 16/4/1871, especially the witnesses. Susan married James Webb, his farther was given as John Charlesworth. James died sometime before 1881.

I am having trouble deciding who the right James Webb was. In 1851 there is a James Webb 36 Publican of Much Hadham married to Mary Rebecca , living next door to Samuel Anderson the brother of Susan's 1st husband Thomas in Secombe.

If anyone can help unravel this tangle it would be a great help

In 1871 there is this family William Mardle 48 Secombe with wife Rose and brother James Webb 55 widower Secombe. Is this the same James Webb. I am not sure who his mother was
