Hi ,
I have been searching for Leslie McKenna, born Bathgate 1879. After death of first wife, he remarried Jane McGuiness in 1911 in Airdrie. It was always believed they then emigrated to USA or Canada.

I have now found a marriage for Jane in 1943 to Robert Fairnie in this cert she is stated as being widow of Leslie,
Robert Fairnie died in Musselburgh 1945 and Jane died Kirkcaldy 1954, this certificate signed by son in law john Kennedy, his wife Catherine, also another daughter Elizabeth married Grainger. The family have settled in Musselburgh area, but no sign of Leslie McKenna, can any one help thank you.

Hi Duker,

Welcome to RootsChat, lets see if we can help you. I see you have tried to give lots of information, but hard to read so tried to space it out a wee bit.

Leslie McKenna b 1911 Bathgate , 2nd marriage 1911 to Jane McGuiness in Airdrie.

Fairnie is prominent name in Musselburgh connected to Fishing in Fisherrow.

Leslie McKenna must have died prior to 1943  as his 2nd wife, his widow remarried. Will check up on SP website.

Hi Duker,

I can see Leslie McKenna's birth and marriage certificates on SP website, but I cannot see his death certifcate. There are 4 deaths between 1879 and 1943, none of them are the correct one I think, but I never downloaded so you can maybe check the 4 of them.
