Hello
I am looking for the baptism record for a Hannah Williams in Trelawnyd/Newmarket, from the later census she assumes her birth was abt 1873 but as I can't seem to locate her in 1871 I thought it would be helpful to know when she was baptised. It would also tell me who her parents were and possible where they lived and any siblings she might have had.
Thanks for reading and any help is much appreciated
Sarah

I don't have an immediate need to visit the archives at Hawarden, but I do go occasionally, so I'll put your search on my to-do list. If you haven't had a response from anyone else, I'll do what I can.
I have more than a passing interest in Trelawnyd, as it is my home village. I have copies of the Parish Records transcribed by Clwyd FHS which cover the periods, baptisms 1700 - 1812, marriages 1700 -1836, burials 1699 - 1812.

Thanks for the reply, i do occassionally visit my self, i just thought if anyone had a copy of the registers it would save a journey. It is interesting that you have the older ones transcribed as i have relatives further back that spent sometime in Trelawnyd which i might bend your ear over, if you don't mind . I have had a quick look at the Trelawnyd old records but i must admit i found them near impossible to read. The family i belong to are the Hollands, so hopefully they stick out like a sore thumb lol.
Thanks again for the reply

You've been busy! Thanks for looking i really appreciate it and the offer of further info, i contacted another relative and told them i was looking for info on Hannah and it now turns out that (if i have the right end of the stick) she was married before so williams isnt actual her maiden name.
Thanks again for the lookup, ive ordered two Trelawynd parish registers from clwyd fhs so if i can help you out with anything when they arrive (and one for whitford, five for holywell and 4 for ysceifiog) im getting them as birthday presents lol!
You already have the two Trelawynd i have ordered!
