Rev. Joseph Scott of Hinckley

Hi

Does anyone have any information on this man, i've found several references to him being a reverand in Hinckley between approx 1775 and 1785 and i know he couldnt have been working there after 1808 because that is when his wife Mary died and was listed as being a widow and from the few words describing her death i get the impression he died whilst living at Hinckley.
Ive also looked at the list of encumbents for st marys and his name isnt listed amongst them, so perhaps that indicates he was some sort of non comformist? At his wedding in Yelling one of the witnesses was John Venn who was some sort of well known evangelical preacher within the church of england at the time. So maybe there is some connection between this John Venn and Joseph Scott.
If anyone has information id be really happy to hear it.

Many Thanks
George
