Help request for the Pitt family of Mordington & Hutton, please!

Hi All,

My GtGtGtGtGrandfather James Pitt was born circa-1783 in Berwickshire. I haven't been able to locate a baptism record for him but I managed to find his sister Margaret and brother Alexander's in 1777 & 1779 at Mordington. They were born to a Thomas Pitt (Isabella Mitchell was maybe the mother although I can't find a marriage for them??). I don't have anymore information other than James went on to marry Margaret Davis in Hutton in 1811 then he and his brother Alexander moved with their families around the 1819/20 mark to Bradford, West Yorkshire (They were Brickmakers by trade if that has anything to do with them moving??). It appears to me that there weren't many Pitt families in Berwickshire round that time as it was primarily an English name, but still i can't find any solid information on them! Alexander died before the 1841 census and James (not appearing in 1841) died in 1850 before the '51 census! If anyone with access to parish records or MI's or the like would kindly look for the Pitt's for me it would be greatly appreciated as I just can't seem to get anywhere with them.

This is a pre 1855 by David Cargill.

Hutton . 85  Isabella wife of Thomas Pitt of Paxton Tilery 30.5.1810 68 years.  dau. Jane 17.5.1809 35 years.

Nothing at Mordington.

Sacred to the memory of Janet Forson wife of James Pitt Grunsgreenhill who died 9.11.1856 aged 36 years.  Also the said James Pitt died 3.2.1860 aged 50 years.  Also Robert Pitt their son a private in the 11th Regiment who died at Dublin 22.5.1864 aged 18 years.

M.I. per 1999 Borders FHS.

By John Pitt (late Colour Seageant 86th Regt.) in memory of Mary his daughter who died Glasgow 6.7.1810 in infancy.  Isabella his daughter who died at East Indied 27.6.1816 aged 2 years  James Carruthers his son who died here 28.4.1842 aged 17 years the above John Pitt died 3.6.1847 aged 64 years  Mary Carruthers his wife died 13.8.1876 aged 88 years  Rachel his daughter who died Hawick 18.2.1932 aged 104 years.
