Please help - Death/Burial - ROGERSON
« on: Monday 02 November 09 14:24 UTC (UK) »

I am more or less at the stage where I just want to tear my hair out  Cry

I am trying to trace a death and burial place for Herbert Rogerson born 1892 in Lancashire and married Olive in 1919, they moved to Aylesbury in the late 1920's and where there when their first daughter died in 1940.  I cannot find a single trace of Herbert since that date.  I have found his wife's death because she returned to Lancashire in the 1960's and passed away 1967 but I know that Herbert had died then, I can narrow his death down to roughly early fifties to early sixties but I have no idea where and if they moved after the death of their daughter.  I have tried to trace it on BMD but have no death found in that area.  Therefor its vital for me to know of any possible house move to somewhere else in the country.

Could anyone please, be able to check the electoral rolls for me as its impossible for me to check as I live in Denmark.  I have no street address just that they lived in Aylesbury in 1940.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help a desperate woman.

Hello Tina

I believe the Electoral Rolls for Aylesbury are arranged by street during the time you are interested and this would make a search quite time consuming.  There are some Street Directories for Aylesbury which might be more helpful - especially if he had a trade.  Do you know his occupation?

Hi

I Have no idea what his profession was unfortunately, however I have just ordered a marriage cert for his daughter which would give me an address and an occupation for him but that would be for 1942   Embarrassed

As we are dealing with relatively modern events, may I ask that if anyone can help, that they contact putti directly by personal message please?

RootsChat has a very strict privacy policy and we try to protect the living from upset or embarrassment.

Many thanks
