I am researching my family back to John Begg born 1755 Canisbay. He was a miller at Gills Canisbay. He married Margaret Moodie born 1762 Dunnet.
Their son Robert Begg shoemaker married Elizabeth Sutherland and lived in Wick.
Elizabeth Sutherland daughter of Alexander and Margaret Harper.
My main thrust is who are the parents of John Begg and any further info on Begg family etc., in Caithness.
