Hi,
I seem to be searching, without much luck, for any existing photos of All Saint's Church which was located on Great Nelson Street, Liverpool.
It was demolished in the early 1960's as part of the mass clearance of the Scotland Road area.
Might anyone have any photos, or know of any available of this church please?
Regards
Paul

There is no photo in 'Churches of Liverpool', a comprehensive book by David Lewis and as he had access to the Liverpool Record Office collection, I fear there is little chance, except via private channels such as this.

Thanks Ainslie and Ann,
I have checked the Record Office previously, and am aware that there seem to be very few photos. I recall there being one on the 'Scottie Press' website, but it's quality is not particularly good ie. the church is not the focus of the photo, and is therefore incomplete.
I will check out Mike's website as suggested.
Many thanks
Paul

Just thought of somewhere else to try
http://www.scottiepress.org/
Great Nelson street is in the vicinity of Scotland Road and these people have collected a huge amount of information on the area.

Ha! Snap, we must have posted together.
If Scottie Press didn't have one, try putting a message on the Merseyside Genealogy forum

Ha, Cheers Ann.
Scottie Press don't appear to have one, having tried a couple of searches, so I'll try the forum you've suggested too!

Hi Jubily, welcome to Rootschat
The marriage records for All Saint's Church are available to view at Liverpool Record Office, and are filed under:
283/ALS/3 Marriages (1847-1936)
Regards
Paul
PS. For info, Baptisms are under 283/ALS/2 and range from 1849-1937

Here's another one for you or anyone out there does anyone have any pictures of Lemon Street Liverpool as it was in the 1800's. I've been but there are just flats there now. Here's hoping Jubily
