Thanks for your message Jim.
I know about the St Giles Church in Sheldon as I was baptised there myself.
Apparently there was once another old church by the same name which was in the Bordesley area of Birmingham.
The Central Library have the parish registers but I have been unable to find out exactly where the old church was actually situated.

I've searched my 1898 map of Bordesley(Green) & all the churches are listed but not the Chapels which I suspect St.Giles is one.
The PR should give a Parish Church to which it was made out of,usually found at the beginning of the book.

Thanks Jim.  I believe that the church actually came under the wing of St Andrew's church but that isn't confirmed.

Thanks again,

The Chapel attached to St.Andrew's is at the corner of Palmer St. & Watery Lane but no name given to it.The other Churches in the Bordesley area are St.John's,Trinity & St.Oswald's.
