Can anyone help, im looking for the marriage records of John Foley and Margaret Neville in Askeaton Limerick around 1830. Where can i find these records, ive looked in IGI to no avail. They had 2 children John Foley 1831 and Mary Foley 1833. Huh

The only way you will be able to find these records if they are available, is to contact the appropriate parish and ask if they could look up their recors for you. Make sure you give the priest all the information you have. It will be very difficult for you however I hope you obtain a positive result.

It looks like this marriage may be included on the Co. Limerick section of the Irish Family History Foundation website - see: www.irish-roots.ie

The index lists a Church Marriage for a Margaret Neville in 1831 in the Catholic parish of Askeaton. There is a possible matching record in the same year and parish for a John Foley.

The record they have are in the form of transcripts and they cost €5 each to view. As with all parish records the level of details included can vary.
