I don't have an immediate need to visit the archives at Hawarden, but I do go occasionally, so I'll put your search on my to-do list. If you haven't had a response from anyone else, I'll do what I can.
In the meantime, neither FreeBMD or NorthWalesBMD (which is complete for this district) show a birth for Hilda Williams registered at Denbighshire North, which includes Rhyl, in 1910. They do show one at Hawarden and one at Wrexham, 3rd and 4th quarter respectively.

No baptism for Hilda in Rhyl.
Parish register for St Asaph Parish Church, 9th October 1910, baptism of Hilda Williams, illegitimate daughter of Gwendoline, abode "Cartrefle".
There were 2 other baptisms of illegitimate children on that day, and others on other dates, all with the same abode.
I'm not sure, but Cartrefle was either an alternative name for the Workhouse or another "home" adjacent to it.
