Could anyone help me at all, I am looking for any info on the Kay family who lived in Bilston in the 1700/1800. William Kay was born around 1790 and he married a lady called Ann, they had a son called William who was Born 1813 he was baptised at St Leonards Church Bilston and he went on to marry Elizabeth. I think there was a daughter called Mary Ann born 1812. On a lot of the census forms the signature looks like Keay because of how they did flicks on letters in those days. Any other Kay I have found from Bilston I seem to come to a dead end when looking them up. I am looking for more info mainly on William Kay born 1790ish. I cant seem to find where he moved to from Bilston or when he died, I know he was alive when his Son got married in 1837 to Elizabeth in Wolverhampton.
Thanks
