Hello again everyone. Here are the details for George Lidgitt 1851 Census. I have not typed out all the people on the Census.
1851 HO107 / 2106 / 44 / 14 Westlaby, Wickenby
The family name is Tougne and there are various Servants/Workers George Lidget / 13 / Servant / Plough Boy b. Market Rasen
I think that we have accounted for all 3 Children as quoted on reply no.14 by myself. All the villages/hamlets named are in the area come under Caistor Registration District . I don't know why every now and again they keep quoting Gainsborough.

Careful dee!
There was a George "LIDGETH" aged 3 in Market Rasen in 1841. The one in Claxby was only 4 months.

many thanks and best wishes Dee
Amendment: There are 3 Deaths between 1841 and 1847 for George Lidgett/ Caistor
The George from Market Rasen does not belong to this family in question.

Starting to find some nice tidbits here and there about the ship. Seems the crossing wasn't very comfortable at times. The article regards the actual journey made by the Curtis family. I also wait for permission to post an excerpt from the diary of the ships doctor which reports the birth of a Curtis child during the journey.

With Tirohanga's kind permission here is the excerpt from the ship doctors diary. Isn't it just fantastic when these windows on specific days are rediscovered after all this time.
