Hi, Thanks for your reply. It will give me something to work on. I'm hoping to find a marriage certificate for Margaret Davies to a Richard Ellis.  Maybe it took place in Denbighshire not Shropshire as I had thought.

Hi taffess,

Maybe it took place in Oswestry, border of Denbighshire and Shropshire.

Marriage
Margaret DAVIES
September 1857

Hi Trish, I do have that marriage certificate, but it doesn't match up with the other info. I have on them i.e. father named as Richard Davies not David and first child born Oct. 1857! I wonder now if they did marry. I have Margaret Ellis nee Davies upto 1911 plus all her surviving children.  Richard Ellis is a mystery.
