Cause Of Death? [Completed]
« on: Tuesday 03 November 09 14:03 UTC (UK) »

This is a snippet of the Canadian death cert of Seth Wimbush in 1925.
Can anyone please decipher the cause of death?
I understand that the two tick marks at the bottom mean there was an operation some time before his death and that an autopsy was performed after. Would anyone know if there might be records of these still existing today and where I might find them?

I agree.Brights disease and apoplexy.Brights disease is basically a kidney disease and apoplexy is bleeding into an organ. If there is no organ specified and apoplexy in written on its own it normally refers to bleeding in the brain.
Some other, wiser RC might be able to give you more info!
