Help with Death/Burial Woburn Sands 1955

Hello All,

I'm looking for the burial information for Annie Elizabeth Curtis D June 1955 aged 90. Her husband, Alfred Edward Curtis d 1947, son Albert Victor Curtis d 1948 and daughter in law Agnes Curtis d 1945 are listed in the burials register for St Michael's Aspley Heath, which I found via the excellent MK Heritage Site. I can only assume that she wasn't buried at this church - would anyone have any suggestions as where to look further please?

Hello Terry,It could be worth contacting the church direct,i.e the vicar or a church warden,some times records are only partially transcribed,some times information is lost,damaged or unreadable,a graveyard plan will pinpoint an individual grave from which you can get the information you require,the other avenue of research could be to contact the local authorities to see if the departed person was cremated rather than burried.I live not too many miles from the area and would happy to do a look up if wanted.

Many thanks for your reply. I'll get in touch as you suggest with the authorities and church first and see if I can find out anything more and if I do need a look up I might take you up on your kind offer. I'm only in Peterborough so it wouldn't be too much of a trip for me in any case and my wife would always be willing to go to Ikea on the way!
