As new to the site but not entirely new to the "Genes" hunting game, my first question is,

The last time I used and searched for the ancestors (2006, I had to give up,my head began to spin)  the 1911 census was not available and the site that I used then I notice still doesn't have the 1911 census.

So which of the online census sites is now the best to subscribe to so I can carry on where I left off in 2006 ?

Hi Peter

If it's 1911 you're after then the answer is simple: it's only available on www.findmypast.com (now on a subscription basis).

Obviously the same site has numerous other resources too, as you will see from their website.
