WEBSTER marriage lookup in SA

Hi , could someone find the marriage of William Webster and Elizabeth Bell.
Elizabeth was born in Lincolnshire in about 1851, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Bell. I have found 3 children born in Vic. but no marriage shows up. As she arrived in SA in 1859 I thought maybe they were married in that state. I think William Webster may have been farming in the Natimuk area of Vic in the 1880s.

Thank you very much for that Kris. I presume the Port Elliot district is the same Port Elliot that appears on modern maps south of Adelaide. I thought the family was over in the Naracoorte Mt Gambier area at this time.

Hi Ding,

Yes Pt Elliot/Goolwa/Victor Harbour (south of Adelaide) - as you see on modern maps - married there and first child born there and then moved down Mt Gambier way by the look of it.

I have just noticed your second post. Is there a second marriage for William Webster & HANNAH Elizabeth Bell? The reason I ask this is that they appear to follow  each other around. Sutton Town and Drop Drop (Torrensdale Mt Gambier) are places that I know my ancestors lived. Hanna Elizabeth & William also had children in Vic. It looks like they may be the same couple.

I wasn't sure Ding but I did suspect it was the same couple.

no BISA entry but there is this - If this is Williams father perhaps that explains the connection to Pt Elliot - entry is clearly wrong (married 1830) but thought it worth mentioning
