Stokes family of Bethersden.

I am chasing my family in South Australia and am thinking my Amelia (or Ann) Stokes who married Charles Warburton and had children in Payneham SA is possibly a child of

Richard Stokes and Priscilla ?

These people are buried in Payneham and came to Australia in 1839 aboard the "Somersetshire"

This Richards parents are apparently William and Amelia Heffel.. Another reason I think its the right people.

According to Amelia's death certificate she was 90 when she died in 1921, making her born around 1831. It also stated she had been in 'the commonwealth (Australia)' for 81 years, making her arrival around the 1840 mark when she was 9.

Richard and Priscilla came out with several children including an "Ann".

my issue is I can't find their marriage. or her maiden name (Priscilla). I keep coming up with a marriage in 1831 to HARRIET COWEL in bethersden..

Harriet and Richard also had children out in Australia at Payneham. However he is buried with his wife 'priscilla' no last name.

Could someone look up children for Richard and Harriet or Richard and Priscilla in Kent.
and a marriage for either.
and whatever else you can find.

            There doesn't seem to be any info regards a Priscilla.

They are probably all your family in some way or other.
