Hi,
I am trying to find out where a Walter READ was buried, i have his death certificate the Registration District is Dartford and the sub district is Erith. He died on the 29th July 1946 the address for his death is 95 Abbotts walk, Bexleyheath Erith. He was 69 years of age. i have looked at various places but dont seem to be able to find out where he was either cremated or buried, any help in this direction would be much appreciated. He was married to a Emily HORTON who was present at his death, i have a death date for her as 20th OCtober 1949 in Erith, Kent, but not sure if this is the right death date, would also appreciate some help in checking this and also if a burial is showing up for her.
Quite new too this so hope i have done this correctly.
Sheila.

Hi Casalguidi,
Thanks for replying to my query, i tried Bexleyheath Council, last year and they could not find anything for him, thought someone could give me an idea what other options to try.
I have a bit of a mystery with his wife as she appears to have gone out to Australia to be with her son in 1934 and there is no record showing up of her return, but on Walters death certificate, she is in ENgland and was present at the death. As i cannot find a death for her i was wondering perhaps he might have been cremated and perhaps she took the ashes back to Australia with her.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Sheila.
