All Saints Parish Church - Loughborough
« on: Wednesday 04 November 09 08:45 UTC (UK) »

Assistance please to locate a William HARRISON 1745 of Loughborough, father Thomas. I would like to know full details regarding his baptism and marriage to a Mary before 1770. Also is it possible to locate details of Thomas baptism etc etc, many thanks. Obviously I am trying to take my family line as far as possible so any suggestions appreciated.
( I have requested All Saints Parish Churchas William and Mary's children were baptised here)
.
PS: Did Loughborough come under the Leicester city records area in the 1700's?
.
cheers Jason Harrison, New South Wales, Australia

Hi Jason, i am happy to assist with any L'boro queries as i live there!! the town also has an excellent family history section in the library with all relevent PRs.

However, as mentioned in previous posts, the library is closed until 16th Nov - Only another week!!! oh Joy!!!
I will then look up your Harrison family for you.

Jason, library open at last!!

William harrison son of Thomas Harrison, joiner  Mar 1746.

the only baptism i can find of about right date for Thomas would be 1728 son of Thomas

could not see a marriage of William &Mary.

this was all from index, will try to see full record next time.
