Hi, Helping a friend so not much to go on.
John Irvin Watson born c 1889 married an Emily Morris - Preswich Dec qtr 1911 (no cert)
They had a son born Manchester Dec qtr 1913 Irvin Watson. Another possible son Edwin born Manchester 1920?
Believe John Irvin worked as a labourer in a chemical works.
Any help appreciated.

Many thanks for all that hard work. The only way I will be able to confirm your findings is to buy the marriage certificate to confirn that the father is Richard,
Why do these favours always end up costing me money.
I will come back as soon as I have the certificate. I am not sure how long that will take with the postal strikes.

Hi, Have just found him on the 1911 census John Irvin Watson Lodger 38 widower Labourer Chemical works born Halifax Yorkshire.
I am not sure if the address on the census and marriage cert could now be 94 Wembury Street Harpurhey and not 94 Newbury Street, any idea's ?

A bit later than this, but by 1953 (Kelly's), there is a 94 Wembury Street, Harpurhey but no Newbury Street in all of Salford, Manchester or Eccles.
