Dobies in Dumfriesshire

My father in law's mother has her family tree going back to William Dobie who married Janet Harkness.  They had a son, Robert  Dobie who married Margaret Fergusson.  Can anyone help with birth and/or marriage details for William?  All I have is that he died in 1818 in Annan, his wife Janet was born in 1760 and died 26 June 1832.  For his son, Robert, again I have no birth date/year, just that he married on 16 Nov 1811 in Annan.  His wife, Margaret was born in 1787 in Brydkirk, and died 1847 in Brydkirk.  Any help taking this line back or any additional siblings would be great.
