William Yates - Mayor of Leicester 1595-7

In googling for William Yates and Leicester (attempting to find a 19th century property deed I had seen before), I came across William Yates, the mayor. The City Council site has a paragraph about him, so I know he died in 1600 leaving issue, is buried in St Margaret's Church, and his will dated 2nd June 1600 was proved in the Prebendal Court of St Margaret's on 25th November 1600 by Joane, his relict and executrix. Any assistance would be welcome, particularly if anyone knows if you can find out the contents of such a will. I don't know if he is connected, but Yates is not that  common a name in Leicester, and after four centuries, most of us who originate there are probably related.
