this sounds a big request! So lets take it one step at a time, as that is the only way to 'do' family history aka tracing ancestors!.
You seem to have a bit about his mother, so first we need to know exactly what you do have and what sources you have searched. Have you got his birth cert? Presumably, as you have his mums name and maiden name. And presumably you have other info too, that has led you to her year and place of birth. Have you sent for her birth cert? Have you found her on any censuses yet? Have you her fathers name from her marriage cert?
Are you wanting to trace Cliffords dad's ancestors too? If so, what do you already have there?
Tell us al you know, and then we will get searching!
