I've been thinking about the name that came up - Ellen Cordiner.
Cordiner is not a name that's come up since , and would probably not have come from the father's side (we know the surnames of both his parents ). The only time I've ever, ever seen it was a chap who I remember in college - from the Mold area . I think he was from farming stock on the Western edge of Mold, so I wonder whether Anne's maiden name was Cordiner. Are there any records for Cordiners in that area around 200 years ago ?. Where would I find the Clwyd FHS transcripts , incidentally ?
I'll search on the internet.

Free BMD , it seems the newspaper spelt it wrong.
