I have an uncle who jined the Highland Light Infantry  in 1922
He gave his next of kin as some one at an address as
29 low may street bishop auckland
As a thought, to try and find the occupier
I decided to do a address search of the 1911 census to give me a sourse
of enquiry
the seach form requires  a first name and last name
also a census reference   none of which I have
what advice could be given to resolve this problem

I have tried to use the one suggested by Pauline with no success
I do know that it can be succesful
I can,t get it to work ,as it is free i will try to get the result after futher effort

Hi Joss

On www.1911census.co.uk home page, look to the left of the green search button and click on

Search for a place

put in

may street
bishop auckland

and search

There doesn't seem to be a Low May Street in 1911
