MOLAMPHY, James - Nenagh

I am wondering if anyone can help with the MOLAMPHY family in Nenagh. There are very few records in the searches I have done. Could anyone recommend some good sources?

I am particularly interested in my grandfather James Molamphy (born 13 January 1919). The only piece of information I have is a copy of the parish records, but it looks like it was put through the washer a few times and unfortunately the parents names are no longer legible. Although, it is good enough to say that he was baptised on 15th January 1919 at the Church of St. Mary's of the Rosary (Nenagh) and lived on Johns Lane.

I tried the Irish Family History Foundation but their records terminate in 1911. The census records from 1911 have no Molamphy living on Johns Lane. The LDS family research website also has no records.

Any help would be appreciated.

there's a family listed in John's Lane, Nenagh on the 1911 census with the surname of Mulenphy, father James wife Kate and 2 children see :

There and no Molamphy in John's Lane in 1901.(see above)

Thank you both for the information.

The 1940 election list looks promising. When I repeated the names to some of my relatives, it brought back some memories for them "Oh, I remember there was an Aunt xxx".
