Information on Elenud Pearce please

I am hoping someone can help me with information on Elenud on Elined Pearce born in 1900 at Bridgend to parents Rachel James born 1873 at Brynamman and Evan Pearce born 1870 at Llantwit Fardre, Glam. I have found them on the 1901 census, Elenud is with her mother (surname spelt Pierce)and Evan being a  minister was away from home on the census night and is listed elsewhere. I have not been able to find them on the 1911 census.
I know Evan died in 1957 but have no information on either Elenud or her mother Rachel. I would love to know if Elenud married.
Any information would be very much appreciated.

Do you have Evans death certificate?
Evan  W Pearce aged 56yrs district Bridgend vol 8b page 71 year 1957
Just a thought if you do have it who registered the death? and was his wife still alive?
If you don't have it, it might be worth getting it. It might answer a few questions.
I also noted that the daughters name when registered was spelled Elined Pearce.

Hi Cardiff,

Thank you for your help. No I do not have Evan's death certificate. I guess that will be the next best thing to get. I understand Rachel was still alive in the early 1950's. Rachel's parents were my GG Grandparents. They emigrated to Australia in 1883 with four of their children but Rachel stayed behind with an Aunt. Rachel was only 9 years old at the time.
Strange they are not on the 1911 census. Just adds to the mystery I guess.

On the 1911 Census Eluned's surname was transcribed as PEANCE but on the Census it is Pearce.    They were living at The Manse, Porthcawl.

Evan William Pearce - aged 40 married - Calvanistic Methodist minister.  born Llantwit Vardre, Glam
Rachel Pearce aged 37 married 12 years  1 child born and still alive.   born Brynamman, Carmarthenshire
Eluned Pearce aged 11  born at St Bride's Major Glam

They all spoke Welsh & English.

Have just found Rachel's death at Bridgend vol 8b page 62. She was 78 years old.

Now to discover what happened to Elined.

No problem, glad to be of help.

I've just been looking through some BM&D's.  Spellings are as seen on screen:

Elined Pearce b March Qtr 1900 (but you knew that) - she is the only one with that name & surname born in Wales at that date  (there were of course quite few Eluned's with variant spelling for surname or totally different spelling.

The following is a possible marriage (but obviously you would need a marriage cert to prove this):
Eluned Pearce m. Rees W Griffiths in Bridgend Glamorganshire Dec Qtr 1945

The above may or may not be of any help.
