Hi All

Charles Kemmery b. 1836 Bathford ? married Elizabeth Cooper b. 1831 surrey d.1891 bury married  1860 Lamberth
then Charles  married Charlotte Turner 1895 Lancs

But not sure if this is correct eg Elizabeth cooper? or married twice?

anyone could help would be great

don't immediately show up for 1871 and haven't done a search

Closes, Bury

free to view- family here- lots of children

Charles and Elizabeth in Bury

1901 RG13; Piece: 3638; Folio: 118; Page: 50

Charles and Charlotte are in Bury

elizabeth cooper of full age father thomas cooper thomas's occ. gardener
residing at 14 allen street at the time of the marriage
married at trinity church,lambeth 5/2/1860
witnesses; james.e.mit----,and sarah weekly
so if we can find a elizabeth cooper with father thomas then that should be her

on my tree Charles kemmery  married Elizabeth cooper then he married Charlotte turner but could not find marriage of Charles kemmery and Elizabeth cooper and do not know when Charles kemmery died

Hi John,

there is a marriage - 1860 Charles Kemmery Lambeth but there are 3 bridegrooms and only 1 bride - so worth following that up.

You have the Bury marriage and there is a likely death 1914 Bury so hopefully you would find him in 1911 census.

Charles E c 1866 b Manchester

Harriet  c 1869 b Poynton Cheshire  (transcribed Poynting)

Alfred c 1870 b Bury

Thomas c 1872 b Bury

John c 1874 b Bury

Ernest c 1876 b Bury

No children in 1901 when Charles is 62 yrs and Charlotte is 40 years.

You can see most of the family in 1881 census- freeview and check the births on Free BMD.

Hi wozzle,

There is a Mary Ann Kemmery married in 1876  Huh in Chelsea - she is not with the family in 1871 when she would be 9 yrs ... and would only be 14 yrs at marriage -perhaps not her then.
