There are some possible combinations there - you could try some censuses for Levi or Llewellyns with a father Evan, in case your were named after uncles.
Witness Wm EVANS isn't as helpful as I had hoped!
I have to stop for the night now but will look in again to see how you're doing.
Kind regards, Arranroots

just to add my 2 pennies worth i have insurance agents which are the obvious and mine agents - mine agents acted as go betweens betwixt the owner of the mines and the workers so they were abit in the middle and not always liked, they had a difficult job as they had to keep the peace and keep everything under control
All the practical operations of mining were controlled by a number of under managers (supervisors) called agents or captains. A large mine might employ as many as 3 or 4 under ground to supervise the work of the tributers and tutmen, whilst others kept watch on the dressing floors at grass level. these agents were in variably chosen from among the working mines themselves, being seleceted for their shrewdness, ability and knowledge of mining. the captains affected a pecuilar type of uniform consisting of high pole hats and white drill coats (so not fit or practical for their type of work). their duties were both mainfold and arduous and the respect in which they were genrally held was more than merited. their position in the mine was made all the more difficult in that they were the intermediaries between management and men and thus responsible for enforcing sometimes unpopular descisions and policies upon the work people. indeed a good mine agent needed to be more than a little diplomatic. above all however if he were to succeed in his profession he must acheive satisfactory returns of tin and copper ore at the minimum of expense, a requirement which meant giving constant vigilance to every aspect of the mines working. Trained in the hard school of practical experience such agents were the very backbone of the Cornish mining industry with a minimum of education but a fund of hard won knowledge they served their county well and created much wealth in it, most of which passed to others for their salaried were usually pitifully inadequate for the exacting work they had to preform.
