would anyone like to uncrack this motorbike photo,, and can someone make out the name of the bike , just below riders foot, i have no idea what year it was taken, the oldest motorbike i ever owned was a 1949 bsa c11 ,,, 250cc, i wish i still had it, ps i would not say no to the bike combination on photo, thanking you all john thanking all who restored this photo, and for the history of this bike john

hi,,im no expert,,but it seems to say the victoria,,,there was a german firm who made motorbikes called the victoria,,,have a google and see what you think.

Hi John, I agree it says "The Victoria". There was a German firm but there was also a Scottish one, both called Victoria and both making bikes around the same time.

Hi,
This is the Scottish "The Victoria". Website as previously advised is very informative on the history of the make. This combo was registered with the Gloucester County Council in the autumn of 1913.
