I wonder if someone can please help locate Joseph Smith on the 1901 census from the 1911 details below. 

1911 census of Ireland
Joseph Smith, head, 36, occ; store man, born England
Ellen Smith, wife, 36, born Scotland
Joseph Smith, son, 13, scholar, born Belfast

Note: Ellen's maiden name was Ellen Haggard

The 1901 census is not yet indexed but will be added to National Archives, Dublin website in the next few months so you'll be able to search for the family then.

Roy,
     Cannot help with the census but I have found what I think are the three marriages if that is any good. Also Ellen Smith's maiden name appears to have been HAGART and her father was Peter according to two different sources.

      16 Aug 1896 Joseph Smith, Father John, married Ellen Hagart, Father Peter, in Trinity Church of Ireland, Shankill, Belfast.
