Could anyone restore Dad's photo please?
« on: Saturday 07 November 09 13:29 UTC (UK) »

This is the only photograph I have of my Dad from his time in the Navy, and it is in a bit of a state. Sadly, my photoshop skills are extremely basic and do not extend to the restoration of eyes. Would anyone be able to do a restoration? I would be extremely grateful.

As it's 2am where I am, this is not the best as the eyes have given out.  If I get a chance I'll have another go later on today.

Cheers

I'll repost later.  Not happy with it at all.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply I was staying up late to do restores.  I'm usually up that late because of the time difference in Australia where I am, so I can chat to buddies and rellies in the UK.

Have to say it's getting impossible to log onto Rootschat these days, been trying for ages!.  Sad

Hope this is okay.

Cheers
Caroline

Thank you both very, very much! Can't wait to print them off for my little family history album - husband still asleep so don't want to try it just yet. Grin

I am very grateful to you, ladies. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Bill, thank you very much for that. Smiley
All of these photos have printed really well. I really appreciate it. We have a box of my Dad's full of photos of people that he must have served with, but of course we have absolutely no idea who they are. And this is the only photo of him.

You are very welcome Karen, in most cases only when it's too late do we stop to think if only we had asked.  Undecided
