Thanks again Mo, interesting as Bridgets maiden name is Mulhair, must be a relative and at last I confirm Patrick was born in Ireland aswell and can try and find a death for him - he died quite young!!, don't suppose I can be really cheeky and find out if they are about in 1851, I think they were married in about 1853, so they might not be together or even in england yet.

Hi Marg,
I can`t see them on a normal search of the 1851 not can I find them on the "unfilmed" indexes. As you probably know the 1851 for Manchester and surrounding areas was badly water damaged during storage.
